Living
Orientation visit
We create a positive first impression of the new destination with a comprehensive tour, in which we show the character of the city and possible residential areas. At the first meeting the employee will be asked questions about the new location (e.g. housing and educational requirements) and, if requested, the PROGEDO services that are offered to the employee.
Home search (unfurnished)
PROGEDO will discuss with the employee the housing requirements and residential areas in order to submit a detailed information package. In accordance with the requirements, properties will be searched and preselected. A maximum of 15 properties will be proposed to the employee.
Home search (furnished)
PROGEDO will discuss with the employee the housing requirements and residential areas After a pre-selection the employee will be shown 8 properties.
Negotiation and appriasal of rental agreement
PROGEDO will check the rental contract and will negotiate the contract in accordance with the wishes of the employee.
Joint house/apartment handover
A PROGEDO employee will assist at the handover of the property. We can also do this alone if we have the permission.
Support with bond payment
We will negotiate the most favorable procedure in the interest of the employee and/or the employer and will coordinate the payment.
Coordination of household move
PROGEDO will request and check 3 proposals from moving companies. PROGEDO will select a mover and coordinate the move. A possible claim for damages will also be coordinated by PROGEDO.
Formalities
Residential registration/Tax card
PROGEDO, will, with the power of attorney, take care of formalities such as obtaining a tax card or registering (or de-registering) at the local citizen's administration office in order to get a residence permit.
Residence Permit (EU Citizens)
PROGEDO assists, with power of attorney, in the application of the residence permit in the new location and will pick it up.
Residence Permit (non-EU countries)
We can already assist you with the visa application. PROGEDO will, with power of attorney, support the application of the residence permit in the new city and will pick it up.
Application for work permit
We can already assist you with the visa application. PROGEDO will, with power of attorney, support the application of the work permit in the new city and will pick it up.
Extension of residence permit
PROGEDO can track renewal dates and will, with a power of attorney, assist in the extension of the residence permit and will pick it up.

Exchanging driver's license
Foreigners who do not posses a driver's license from a European union country must apply for a German driver's license at the latest 6 months after the first registration with the local citizen administration office. This is the case if you want to drive in Germany. We will, with a power of attorney, take care of the the formalities.
Driver's license with test
vForeigners who do not posses a driver's license from a European union country must apply for a German driver's license at the latest 6 months after the first registration with the local citizen administration office. This is the case if you want to drive in Germany. The law in many federal states demands that the applicant pass a written and/or a practical test to obtain a driver's license. We look for a suitable driving school, provide textbooks and settle the formalities with the authorities, if given power of attorney.
Registration with utility services
PPROGEDO will take the necessary steps for the appplication and connection for electricity, gas, water, garbage disposal and telephone.

PROGEDO will, with a power of attorney, (de-)register for a car license with the German license authority.
Financial
Opening of a bankaccount
PROGEDO explains to the employee the banking system in Germany and helps with the opening of a bank account and/or with the application for credit cards.

PROGEDO provides the necessary documents and assistance with the application for child support.

PROGEDO informs about the local education facilities and the German school system.
School and kindergarden registration
Progedo will search for a language school after having received specifications and will prepare the registration.

PROGEDO assists in the search for household help, a babysitter, gardener etc. in accordance to the specifications of the employee.
Other Services
Advice with importing pets
PROGEDO advises the customer about importation and vaccination rules, insurance and prepares the tax registration.
Organisation of the final cleanup of the residence
PROGEDO kümmert sich vor dem Einzug und / oder nach dem Auszug des Kunden um die Reinigung der Immobilie durch eine Reinigungsfirma.
Selection of telephone equipment
PROGEDO advises the customer about the best way of grouping his tele-communication equipement (ADSL, telephone, mobile phone etc.)
Vehicle importation from foreign countries
PROGEDO advises and supports the customer with importing a vehicle from a foreign country and organises all the necessary formalities (customs, mechanical inspection TUV, Vehicle Exhaust Emission Test ASU, Registration)
Listing of hotels
We will book a hotel room if the customer is in town for a business meeting or if he visits with his family for a orientation visit (without pre-visit).

We inform the customer about insurance options (health, household, liability, car insurance), look for good offers, and assist with the application.
Creation of an address list
PROGEDO offers the employee, free of charge, a tailor made address list which includes local doctors, shopping, sport facilities etc.
