Pilsner Urquell Deutschland GmbH is relocated to Cologne by the service provider PROGEDO relocation

30 members of staff are able to continue their work without delay in the new offices thanks to perfect project realisation.

Düsseldorf, 2nd of April 2008- With the relocation of Pilsner Urquell Deutschland GmbH, PROGEDO relocation impressively demonstrated its high competence as an Establishing service provider. Due to the precise planning and execution by external specialists, the relocation from Kerpen to the new site in Cologne, did not impact the day-to -day business of Pilsner Urquell. “We found a flawlessly working infrastructure on the day of the move”, says Tiarnán Bergin, CEO of Pilsner Urquell Germany GmbH. The 30 members of staff of this beverage distribution company were able to resume work in the new offices located “am Adenauerufer 5-7” without any unwanted retardation.

“A failed or badly organized relocation can cause great difficulties to a middle sized company”, explains Frank Faggo, CEO and founder of PROGEDO relocation. The resettlement specialists from Düsseldorf began by creating a target profile for Pilsner Urquell and subsequently compiled a preselection of suitable properties. After signing the rental contract, the detailed planning commenced. A significant level of know-how is required for this, as many factors such as the entire interior architecture, the choice of flooring and furniture, the IT design and the execution of all construction works needed to be brought into a realistic time-frame. For this purpose PROGEDO relocation uses modern project management tools.

“An early and detailed plan is of crucial importance, but does not lead to success by itself”, says Frank Faggo. Reliable partners play an equally important role in a project of this size. PROGEDO relocation is represented nationwide and therefore has access to an existing network of dependable partners.

“We had a contact person for the entire relocation project, which proved to be helpful to our company already long before the actual move”, says the CEO of Pilsner Urquell about the professional working methods of the service providers.  After the move, PROGEDO relocation still supports its customers if necessary by contacting the appropriate partner businesses- from the courier service to the advertising agency.

Are relocation services again an economic indicator ?
The revenus of PROGEDO have been increasing considerably the last weeks! We were able to observe already in 1997 that the general economy improved shortly after noticing that companies were more willing to move and/or to employ personnel.
